This detached house was rebuilt in 2011 on the footprint of an old house. Reconstruction was chosen to guarantee quality and comfort. In the reconstruction, light materials and large windows were chosen, which make the beautiful view stand out.

Some fruit trees grow near the house, such as orange, apple, peach, persimmon and various olive trees. The rest of the ground includes oak, hazel and small chestnut trees. On the ground are a few old outbuildings made of natural stone, one of which houses an old bread oven.

This property is located approximately 5 km from the village of São Martinho da Cortiça and is accessible by a paved road. This village has some small commerce including café, bakery, pizzeria, pharmacy and grocery store. Arganil is approximately 10 km away. This small provincial town has all important facilities such as shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, restaurants, doctor’s surgery, schools, library and weekly market. Coimbra is approximately 45 km away.
