What is it?
This detached house consists of two parts: the original house and a more recent extension. The main house has three floors. On the ground floor are the kitchen, bathroom and a bedroom, which is now used as a sitting room. On the first floor, accessible via both an indoor and outdoor staircase, there is a spacious living room and a roof terrace with beautiful views of the mountains. Below the house there is another floor with two storage rooms. Specifics?
From the house and the land is a beautiful panoramic view of the Serra de Açor. The plot is located in a rural area without being isolated and is one of the gems that are becoming increasingly scarce because it is hardly allowed to build in such places anymore. Where is it?
The house is located between the two villages of Casal de São João and Vinhó and is accessible via a paved road. Only the last 200 m are a reasonably passable dirt path. Côja, where most facilities are available on a small scale, is about 4 km away. A river beach, camping site and various restaurants can also be found here. Arganil is located at a distance of approximately 20 km. This small provincial town has all important facilities such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, doctor’s practice, schools, library and weekly market. The larger city of Coimbra is approximately 70 km away.
