The domain is located just outside the village of Espadanal. Espadanal itself has no facilities but there is a cafe about 1 km away and the village is also about one km from the River Mondego. Tábua is about 5 km away. This is a small provincial town where the main amenities are available, such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical practice, schools, swimming pool, library and weekly market. A train station is about 15 minutes’ drive away and the larger city of Coimbra is about 60 km away.
