What is it?
It is a beautiful quinta on the river Mondego with a largely granite house. The gross floor area is 124 m². The house has two floors and an attic. The kitchen is on the ground floor, the first floor consists of the living room and between these two floors (split level) is a bathroom with bath. The bedroom is located on the attic. The house is basicly habitable but does not meet current living standards. Around the house are several outbuildings such as a garage, a covered terrace and a stall. These outbuildings are not registered.

How about the facilities like?
The house is connected to the electricity grid. It has its own water through a water mine that has always provided water to this day. For heating it has a wood stove, and for drainage a septic tank. The windows are single glazed and the frames are made of iron. A part of the windows have iron shutters.

Outdoor space?
The house is located on a plot of approximately 1.2 ha. The plot consists of alternating flat terraces that have served for agriculture, imposing rocks, and slopes with beautiful native vegetation including oaks, cork oaks and strawberry trees. Various olive trees grow on the land, as well as fruit trees such as orange, fig, cherry, apple.

The quinta is located on the river Mondego with its own access to the river. The house and many places on the ground, have a nice view on the river flowing. Plots on a river with residential use are scarce. The plot is varied and attractive.

Where is it?
The quinta is located a few kilometers outside the village of Póvoa de Midões. The accessibility is good via a paved road. The village has a few cafes and two grocery stores. Tábua is about 9 km away and Carregal is about 6 km away. In these small provincial towns, all important facilities are available, such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, medical practice, schools, library and weekly market. Carregal do Sal also has a train station. The larger city of Coimbra is about 60 km away.
