What is it?
This quinta consists of a house that is largely built from granite stones. The cottage has two floors. On the ground floor is the living area with five small rooms, a kitchen and a bathroom. From the ground and the ruins there is a clear and wide view of hills and other farmlands.

Where is it?
The quinta is located between Covas and Venda de Esperança. Accessibility is good via a paved road. Only the last 400 m are a passable sand path. Covas and Venda de Esperança are two small villages, each with a café. Tábua and Oliveira do Hospital are about 10 km away. These are small provincial towns where all important facilities are available such as restaurants, shops, supermarkets, post office, banks, doctor’s practice, hospital (Oliveira do Hospital), schools, library, bus station and weekly market. The larger cities of Coimbra and Viseu are approximately 65 and 55 km away. The Serra da Estrela mountains and the beach are both about an hour’s drive away.
